With Elementor’s Posts widget, you can create a blog page that displays a list of any custom post types in various layouts and ways. To edit the News/Blog listing page, hit the "Edit with Elementor" link:



 

 

Here you can customize the layout, number, and category of posts, styles, animation, pagination, etc.





As soon as you're done with the customizations, hit the "Update" button, then the toggle button in the left top corner:




Next, click on "View Page" or "Exit to Dashboard."

Setting up the Archive Blog Categories

The Elementor Archive Template will give you all the freedom you need to layout and design the Blog Archive page. It will provide consistent design and bulk edits of all the archive page (don't forget to set the template's Display conditions accordingly)


Open the Blog Category (Tag or any other taxonomy) archive page. Here, you can easily locate the Blog Categories Archive link under "Edit with Elementor" menu in the toolbar:



 


You can edit/remove/add new widgets to the Blog Categories Archive template. All edits of the template will affect every category and other taxonomy which are set in its Display conditions (see below). Notice: The number of posts on the Archive page is determined by the native WordPress settings.



 

Go to WP Dashboard > Settings > Reading and change the number of posts you wish to retrieve.

Creating a Blog Post


  1. Navigate to Dashboard > Posts > Add New
  2. Choose the category, add some tags or upload the featured image from the options on the right-hand side.
  3. Publish changes.






Layout and style customization



You can customize the layout and style of your Blog Posts in the global Theme Styles.


Click on the toggle button in the left top corner:





Select the "Site Settings" menu:

Blog Post also support Comments to allow readers to interact with you - here, you can enable/disable it:

Blog post & Single Post template


When adding a new blog post or editing the tag/ category of an existing demo post, make sure that the Single Post global template is set accordingly. Otherwise, your post will look broken. 


The Single Post global template predefines the blog post design. You can edit it in Dashboard > Templates > Theme Builder > Single Post
