How to generate an Envato Elements token?

   

   

If you downloaded the theme from Envato Elements, you’ll need to register your Envato Elements token to use it (learn more here).


Please note that Envato Elements subscriptions do not include theme support or automatic updates. If you’d like access to support and one-click automatic updates, you’ll need to purchase the theme on Envato Market.


The Envato Elements version is best suited for developers/designers who don’t need support and are comfortable updating the theme manually via FTP.

         

     

Click the "Follow this link to generate a new Envato Elements Token" link.

       

 

        

It will redirect you to the Envato login page. You can sign in to Envato Elements with your existing Envato account.

     

     

     

     

Follow the steps for generating the Envato Elements Token, and copy the token:   

   

    

Note: If you still see the message “This service has been discontinued…”, please ignore it - Envato will remove it shortly.

    

      

    

Enter the Envato Elements Token and click "Register".

          

    

      

Now, you can install the plugins and import the demo content. Check the installation guide here

Cannot validate Purchase Key or Token

    

If you can't validate the Purchase code or Token, please ensure the following:

   

  

  

      

1.  If you see a validation error ("Invalid"), likely you are using the item ID in the Licence Certificate. This is not a token. You must generate the token from the link in the dashboard.

2. If you see a validation error ("Invalid") - make sure that you don't enter a standard Purchase Code in the Envato Elements field or vice versa. You have to click on the correct tab:

   

   

   

3. The cURL PHP extension is functioning properly

    
4. Your server must use one of the supported platforms listed here: https://letsencrypt.org/docs/certificate-compatibility/#platforms-that-trust-isrg-root-x1

     

5. If you use OpenSSL, please update it to version 1.1.0 or newer. Version 1.1.0 was released in 2016 and is the oldest version that supports the new LetsEncrypt certificate chain. However, we strongly advise you to use only the most recent version of OpenSSL (3.3.2 as of September 2024).

     

6. Elements Tokens are generated for and work only with a particular URL. If, for example, you migrate your website from http:// to https://, you will need to regenerate the token (check the instructions in #1)

     

7. You will also see a validation error if anything prevents the connection between the customer's website and https://updates.vamtam.com. In this case, you should contact your hosting provider.
